I like Fisch’s vision and hope that he’s at UW long enough to implement it.

Our starting five offensive linemen were bigger than Iowa's. So we haven't had a size problem in the Big 10. Maybe a talent problem?

Iowa's OL are 4/5 yr players that have been practicing and playing together for years within a system that has been in place for decades.

True - but last week we saw another team with a new coach and a taped together o-line (Mi St) seem to handle Iowa just fine. I'm basing that on the score tho since I didn't watch the game

Along with experience and time playing together. Experience and time together can overcome some talent deficiencies, but having holes in both areas is a problem.

This last comment sounds scarily like Lake's "Run the Damn Ball". Ugh we are changing to a boring B1G team. This sucks!!!

I don't think having a strong running emphasis makes you boring. It makes you more explosive in the passing game. Plus Fisch is a passing guru.

I would gladly take boring and winning than exciting and losing.

I'll be curious to see what the trends are with the 105 limit. I'd imagine teams at the top of the food chain will take more development type lineman. This will have down stream effects, because that means G5, pac12 "under the radar prospects".

Another area of think would be more backs, injury always depletes that group, perhaps even a revival of the fullback.
