Our B1G 101 series continues with an introduction to a program that, for most any Washington Huskies fan, needs no introducing: the Michigan Wolverines, who visit Seattle on Oct. 5.
Washington’s dream 2023 season ended with a 34-13 defeat to Michigan in the national championship game, and the Huskies and Wolverines have met four other times in the postseason, all in Pasadena. They’ve also played a memorable series of nonconference games, and Washington’s current roster includes a pair of Michigan transfers (receiver Giles Jackson and linebacker Hayden Moore).
When folks talk about UW ramping up to face Big Ten competition, this is one of the handful of programs they have in mind.
