Early thoughts on Washington vs. Texas in the Sugar Bowl
The Huskies are one of two fortunate teams to go 13-0 and *make* the CFP.
SEATTLE — Washington didn’t leap Michigan for the No. 1 overall seed, so the Huskies’ second College Football Playoff appearance will not take place at the Rose Bowl, as so many UW fans had hoped.
Instead, it will be No. 2 Washington vs. No. 3 Texas at the Sugar Bowl in New Orleans on Jan. 1. The game is scheduled for a 5:45 p.m. PT kickoff.
No. 1 Michigan faces No. 4 Alabama the same day at 2 p.m. PT in the Rose Bowl.
