Comment on the rules discussion, Danny seemed pretty down on the manipulation of rules. I think his quote was, "When you intentionally break the rules".

An example that comes to mind is when a DB gets beat and does whatever it takes to stop the reception. They know they are violating the spirit and actual rule.

I wonder if that would ever fall under the unfair competition clause see and turn into a first down at the 10 yard line.

Definitely opened a can of worms with that one. There are so many intentional penalties or intentional plays that can be classified as unfair competition.

What Christian said about the fact that it was an Ohio State vs. Oregon game is extremely true and incredible annoying. The Quentin Moore injury play was incredibly impactful to our season and much more flagrant.

Thank you for talking about special teams, or not so special teams so far this year. To me that has been a bigger factor than being supposedly physically dominated up front (because of our inexperience I don't buy that one). We are giving up not only points, but also alot of field position. Our lack of touchbacks and long range field goal makes compared to our opponents has been a point of contention for me with Husky kickers for years. I am the only one I think that stands up and roars appreciatively whenever we have a touchback.

I like to see Dan Lanning spend so much time on rules manipulations. It means he is spending less time on making his team actually play better and execute better throughout the season.

I’m sure there’s enough time in his day for both
