Seems like everyone wants traditions like a penn st has but then when UW tries stuff it’s always maligned or seen as corny. If you want stuff you gotta try stuff and see what sticks. In reality I think we just need to stop comparing ourselves to others. We got our own cool stuff like sailgating, hat chant, captain husky etc. A place like penn state with that tailgating is cool until you want to have season tickets but not live in happy valley and remember it’s impossible to get to. I on the other hand can live in a city and take a bus 15 minutes from my home and be at husky stadium. It’s fun to look at other places but we got a lot to be happy about here imo and I don’t think people always appreciate that enough.
