Surprised to hear no mention of Pettis in the Punt Return conversation. He may not have had much success in the NFL for Punt Returns but he still holds the NCAA record.... and was a DAWG. His first step, half second analysis of the field immediately upon receiving the punt was elite. It’s hard to have a conversation about Punt Returns (in the NCAA or NFL) and not include Dante.
You’re the second person to point that out. In my mind, it was less a conversation about punt returners and more a discussion of Odunze vs. Reggie. Fear not, Pettis’ status as a punt returner is not in dispute.
I hear that. I would love to see you all have a discussion of the most dynamic players in Husky History. Maybe I missed in a previous episode. But don’t need a ranking (because that’s impossible to do) but would love to see who you think the most unforgettable players are in UW history (and maybe among the entire PAC-12 over the past 20+ years). I recently saw a graphic that had Gaskin as 1 of the top 10 or so RB’s in the Pac 12 since 2000.
What's the NYC UW bar Danny mentioned a few weeks ago? Or was that a Seahawks bar? Curious either way.
