The Day After: Thoughts on Washington's win over Weber State
The Huskies began the Jedd Fisch era with a 35-3 victory. Here's what I'm thinking about a day later.
SEATTLE — The Washington Huskies are 1-0 after a 35-3 victory over Weber State in their 2024 opener. These day-after columns are among my favorite recurring features. I like to spend some time digesting the game we just saw, analyzing some of the play data and then packaging my thoughts for you in a sort of stream-of-consciousness manner.
Walking into Husky Stadium to begin my second football season as an independent reporter felt … normal, like this is how it’s supposed to be. Thanks to everyone who was with us last season, and to those who have subscribed since.
Here’s what I’m thinking about one day after the start of the Fisch era at Washington.
